EVACUATION: The Desert Deluge begins in the United States in 2072. Michael Anderson, 14 and his father, Lieutenant Joseph Anderson, 39 are separated by the Chinese government, which has overthrown the USA, twenty years before. Both Michael and Joseph tell their story as they make life and death decisions when the authorities of New China threaten the safety of their family and friends. Part police thriller, part wilderness adventure and part survival of a natural disaster.
At great risk of being locked forever in a New China prison camp, Michael finds the courage; courage summoned from Bonnie's kiss and the Enoch papers, to join the underground rebellion. Enoch's prophecies prepare him for the great and terrible last days as Michael and other US revolutionaries, the Sons and Daughters of Liberty, fight to dethrone the Communistic Regime.
Former US cops and military are forced to work for the New China Security Force. Joseph must remain in the Phoenix Valley and assist with the evacuation effort. Four dams on the Salt River have burst causing destruction and havoc. Joseph begs his wife and children to flee the Valley of the Sun and join with like-minded revolutionaries in the White Mountains of Arizona.
Michael, alone must protect his mother, his older sister and four younger brothers and keep them alive as they hike through a blizzard in a brutal wilderness. They experience rock slides and wolf attacks which leave his little brother, Jericho near death. Michael loses all contact with his father, and the family have little hope of ever reuniting.

In 2078, Michael's older sister Kiree, 21 and his younger brother, Jericho, 18, volunteer to fight with the underground US Cavalry. Their mission is to overthrow the New China Regime in Washington DC, who for a quarter century have squashed the US people, their freedom and moral decency.
Our story begins in an Arizona underground Freedom City, where the Sons and Daughters of Liberty have combined forces with US President Martinez. For more than a decade President Martinez, forced into hiding and who escaped an attempted New China assassination. Kiree and Jericho Anderson volunteer to fight and secretly train with the underground US Cavalry, and the US Church Coalition. The Anderson siblings are working through the sorrow of losing their father, who died due to complications during the Arizona Desert Deluge, six years before. Kiree and Jericho also are dealing with accepting a new stepdad, and who helps lead the Arizona Cavalry and to cope with a blended-family situation.
Kiree’s assignment as a helicraft pilot is to shield or cloak her ProPair male Cavalry or Tech or Jeep ranger. After months of training, Kiree hands in her Cavalry tags, petrified she would fail and kill her partner. General Greski convinced Kiree she would be successful by inspiring her with faith-filled stories.
At the peril of their lives Kiree and Jericho and 42,000 obedient young soldiers from the Rocky Mountain Freedom cities covertly travel to Washington DC to overthrow the New China Regime. Jericho tends to be arrogant and a bully, but during life and death battle skirmishes learns some humility and to be less judgmental.
For a quarter of a century, the New China Security Force has persecuted US people of faith and now, they have falsely accused those in the Freedom Cities and President Martinez of poisoning the water systems in the southern US States and blames them for the deaths of hundreds of thousands American citizens. While Kiree and Jericho travel to Washington DC, their families at home must deal with horrible persecution and their neighbors turning them into the New China authorities for the large cash bonuses. A 9.9 earthquake hits the US west coast, as the Sons and Daughters of Liberty travel by cargo train to Washington DC.
While in DC, Kiree and Jericho are part of the team who with the Code and Tech Soldiers successfully deflect several nuclear bombs directed at eight US East Coast cities directed from Iran. During the DC battles, many are wounded, including their stepdad and Kiree’s boyfriend, Tony. It seems impossible for such young soldiers to overthrow the New China Regime and Jericho and his sister wonder if they’ll ever return home alive.
This is the second book in the CATACLYSM series, yet is a stand-alone book, as is the first, EVACUATION: THE DESERT DELUGE. Both are end-times story of war, natural disasters and the great and terrible future based on Bible prophecies before Christ’s return. This book will appeal to fans of The Man in the High Castle” and “Thunder in Heaven” and “The Great and Terrible”. A literary agent who has seen the manuscript has called this story “this generation’s Red Dawn.”
